I’ve been getting requests for raw food recipe demos and I am on a fast!!! But I did it, I put together my favorite Pesto for you all today!! I use this pesto on everything– as a dip, a salad dressing, a spread and even a sauce!! I love it! I put this recipe together without using any oil, it’s full of beautiful greens and creamy from the pine nuts– hits the spot especially as the weather is cooling down (at least on my side of the world!!). Raw Pesto Recipe (Oil-Free)
1 Cup Pine Nuts
2 Cups Fresh Basil
2 Cups Baby Spinach
1 Cup Fresh Coriander (Cilantro)
1 lemon (juice of)
2 tbsp crushed Garlic
2 tbsp Tamari (wheat-free)
pinches of cayenne pepper (optional)
-blend all ingredients ina blender or food processor.
