Over the weekend it was Nyepi Day- Bali’s Silent Day. For an entire day the entire island is shut down, no one can go outside, the airport is closed, no lights, no noise, nothing!! Just silence & darkness! Maybe you should take a a silent day!

Yesterday I talked about supplements, today I talk about ‘Superfoods!!’ I get a lot of emails asking me what my opinion is on superfoods– are they really that great?!!!! I don’t necessarily believe that superfoods have supernatural nutritional power– but I do believe there is a place for them in a healthy diet. They offer variety and can help people transition to raw. Whatever you are doing that helps you continue eating healthy food— continue doing it!!

1/2 papaya
2 banana
1 pint raspberries
1 pint blueberries
4 dates
3 Cups Green smoothie (mango, coconut water & meat, kale)
1/2 head cauliflower & guacamole salsa
pecans
