Everyone knows that I love starting a new month, but I also especially love December. December represents the end of the year, and to me that is a good reminder that I have 1 month left to achieve all my goals. Many times people put everything off until January, and December becomes a month of toxic indulgences!! For me, I want December to be my month where I step up my game and really make my dreams my reality. I’ve got one month left to do so and I can’t wait to rock in the new year feeling victorious!!
We’ve all been there, probably more than once where we feel bored with our diet or food. I get emails asking me how to get the motivation and excitement going again!
One thing I’ve come to realize in myself is that when I start feeling bored with my food, a lot of times it actually has to do with something else– most of the time it ends up being that I’m feeling bored or unenthusiastic about something in my life! One way or another, the boredom doesn’t last forever, it’s a phase that you have to ride out. I do have some suggestions like going to your local Raw Food Meet-Up Groupand meeting people with similar interests and also experimenting with different raw food recipes– mix things up and change the routine– that can definetly spice things up again.

A lot of times we associate happiness with reaching our goals. The so-called, “Once I get ___, I will be happy” Does that really happen? I know for myself that the moment I make my happiness depend on something outside myself and something far off in the future, I am setting myself up for disaster.
I’ve also seen how people reach their goals even quicker when they do the opposite– they determine to be happy right now and to enjoy the process. Weight loss, changing one’s diet, getting healthy– these thing don’t have to be a torturous experience– in fact it can be the opposite.
I always think about how ‘Time flies when you are having fun.” The same is true with everything— things happen and they happen quick when you are having a good time!
