For me, the biggest benefits of getting on a raw food diet is the increased energy. No more mid-afternoon naps, no need for coffee and stimulants and I never feel like I’m in a fog or dragging myself around. I’m a very busy girl and I love the fact that I can do everything I want, and even more!!!

Today’s Food:

2 pints blueberries

4 bananas

3 cups green juice (kale, cucumbers, celery, apple, lemon)

3 cups green smoothie (kale banana, blueberries, hemp seeds dulse)

1 salad (romaine, sprouts, onion, tomato, avocado, lemon, celtic sea salt

Today’s Exercise:

2.5 hours bike riding

  2. Wow that is such a great post!!!! I started about a month ago on eating more Raw and my energy is still up and down(mind you I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 10 month old that are nursing on demand and If I’m lucky I have about 5 hours of sleep at night)

    I was hoping for a drastic energy boost, I didn’t got what I hope for but I’m trying to be content with the amount of energy that it did give me. I still am fogged up in the afternoon (usually try to take a short nap to help but not happening often with a toddler!!!)

    Sometimes I feels that my brains left me after I give birth to my lovely little girls!!!!

    Will continue on eating raw and trying to get more Zzzzz!

    Energy ups and downs– very normal when you are nursing and having irregular sleeping schedule. Once your hormones start balancing out and your children start sleeping through the night, you will notice more of a change.
    Everything you are doing now is fantastic!! Keep going! 🙂
