To continue from yesterday’s introduction into the raw food diet and how to get started, today I answer some common questions abut the raw food diet, like where do you get your protein, are you getting sufficient vitamins and minerals, why are greens so important, and can you eat grains on a raw food diet? I always find that the more I know about the food I am eating, the happier I become!!! It makes me feel so good knowing that I am nourishing myself and doing all that I can to be in top shape. In all, knowledge is power!!! 🙂

Today’s Food:

2 cacao superfood balls

1 Shot wheatgrass juice

3 Cups green smoothie (swiss chard, apricots, peaches, nectarines)

5 Cups cherries

2 bananas

1 Pint blueberries

1 Cup cashews


Today’s Exercise:

50 minutes running

2.5 hours bike riding
