Happy October 1st everyone!!! You know how much I LOVE starting a new month :) . Today is day number 1 of our 10 Day Juice Feast!! The energy of the group is absolutely amazing, I am soooooooo happy!!!!! So onto today’s episode! I received an email this morning asking me about the amount of calories in smoothies that I decided to base today’s episode on diet tips and how to lower the calories in your meals. I am all about finding ways of eating your favorite foods and dishes and not having it pile on your waist-line!

Vanilla Watermelon Slushie Recipe & How To Make Vanilla Powder, Ep25

In today’s episode I show you how to make my favorite summer time slushie. This is the ultimate beverage after a workout or on a hot summer day— Vanilla Watermelon Slushie— Yum!!!! Along with demonstrating how to make the slushie, I also show you how to make Vanilla Powder and other things you can do with those precious Vanilla Beans.

The recipe is below!

Vanilla Watermelon Slushie

3-4 Cups Watermelon

14 ice cubes

1/4 – 1/2 lime (peeled)

1/16 tsp green stevia

1/16 – 1/8 tsp vanilla powder

—-Blend all ingredients in a blender until ice is crushed into a slush consistency.

5 Cups cherries

6 bananas

1/4 watermelon

1 Cup watermelon slushie (watermelon, lime, vanilla bean)

Cacao treat (mesquite, cacao, stevia, coconut oil, hemp seeds)

1 hour running
