Are Powdered Wheatgrass and Greens Any Good?, Ep89

October 9th, 2009 Natasha No comments

I was asked what I thought of powdered wheatgrass. So today I decided to talk about powdered greens in general– what I think of them. I prefer fresh greens, fresh wheatgrass juice, etc.. I will take anything fresh over the powdered stuff, but I do feel there is a place for the powdered greens. So today I talk about when I use the powdered greens, what to look out for when buying a product, and when it could actually come in handy.

I received an email yesterday asking my why this person could never feel full after drinking a large smoothie (like 4 cups of smoothie!) compared to when this person ate cooked food and meats. This comes up a lot when people are transitioning to raw foods and no matter what they eat they don’t feel satisfied and don’t  have that full feeling they get from cooked foods, or that they feel hungry again after an hour or two.

Today I give a few suggestion to help feel fuller, plus also ways to slowly transition to more raw foods and adjustments you can make to have a healthier diet.

I received an email last night with a great question! I was asked how a person can re-motivate themselves to get back on a raw food diet when everyone surrounding this person is eating junk food and doing fine. Why is it some people do well on processed sugary food and others are way too sensitive and feel terrible on that type of food.

I love the question, and here is my answer!!

In today’s video I give you some tips that have helped me!
