I know a lot of people take fiber supplements like Metamucil to stay regular and balance out IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). What I do want to point out is if you take a fiber supplement like Metamucil, the problem is not so much taking the psyllium everyday- its all the dyes, artificial flavors, sweetens, etc.. in the product, that people take once or twice a day over months, years and even decades. Imagine eating orange dyes twice a day, everyday for over 10 years– think about what that is doing to you?
So in my opinion, I know the average person on a standard mainstream diet isn’t eating enough fiber and what is most important is getting more fiber from food and transitioning off of the man-made products & supplements. Today I give you ideas and steps to take to get back on track.
