Today I answer a few questions on my opinion on conventional medicine, medications, antiobiotics and birth control pills. Personally I believe there is a place for everything, both conventional medicine and alternative/natural remedies and therapies. But what is most important is Prevention!! Don’t get sick, get healthy and then you won’t have to worry about all the doctors, medication and everything else that come with it!!!
I received an email the other day asking me what I would recommend– should someone do a 30 Day 100% Raw Food Challenge or should they transition slowly, taking things one step at a time?
I think each person is different, some do really well with the ‘all or nothing’ approach while others really need to take small steps with their diet as to make more lasting changes.

I’ve noticed that many times people put their health and happiness off for a later date because they are waiting for the perfect time in their life to get healthy– that day never comes and sometimes its only when someone gets real ill or real burned out that they finally make healthy changes in their lives. I know because I myself have done this numerous times!!
The only way anyone can make healthy changes in their lives and have long term results, is if they enjoy it– the food has to taste good, the exercise has to be fun and nothing can be too restrictive, time consumming or stresssful.
Pretty simple!! So I ask you then, what are you willing to do to improve your health? Just 1 thing that would be easy and fun for you to do– you never know that one thing may be exactly what you need to take your health and happiness to the next level.
Everyone knows that I love starting a new month, but I also especially love December. December represents the end of the year, and to me that is a good reminder that I have 1 month left to achieve all my goals. Many times people put everything off until January, and December becomes a month of toxic indulgences!! For me, I want December to be my month where I step up my game and really make my dreams my reality. I’ve got one month left to do so and I can’t wait to rock in the new year feeling victorious!!
