You can make kefir out of anything that has sugar. Coconut water kefir is very popular but no one is quite sure with what those Thai Coconuts are being preserved with (they are dipped in something to keep them fresh). Also its not easy to find organic young coconuts either and for many people it is impossible to find any coconuts available at their supermarket or fruit stores. So today I show you how to make kefir, using freshly pressed apple juice. I strongly recommend using Kefir Grains to ferment the apple juice, but you can always use a probiotic supplement (get it in capsule form and open one capsule and add the powder to the juice and then ferment the juice 24-72 hours).
