These are the BEST Kale Chips Ever!!!

Just to let you know too, the sauce that you make for the chips is great as a dip and also a salad dressing– super yum!!!

Kale Chips Recipe

2 bunches of curly Kale

1 Red Bell Pepper

1 Cup Cashews (soaked in water 8 hours, rinsed)

1 Tbsp Yellow Miso (make sure it yellow miso, and NOT the dark brown)

1 Lemon (juice of)

3 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar (non-filtered)

1 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast

2-3 cloves garlic

-Soak cashew in water for 8 hours (overnight). Rinsed & Drain

-Place Cashews, Lemon Juice, Apple Cider Vinegar in Blender and blend until smooth

-Add Red Bell Pepper and blend

-Add all remaining ingredients, bend until smooth. There should be not chunks of nut, it should have a creamy texture.

-Remove Kale greens from stalk/inner spine.

-Mix Cashew Sauce with Kale greens and place on dehydrator trays

-Dehydrate for 6 hours at 105 degrees F.

    @Patti
    Yes it will work with an oven, just put it at the oven’s lowest temperature and check it every 30 minutes (I don’t think it will take very long to bake it).
    Best with a dehydrator to keep all the nutrients, but for the time being an oven is fine :)

    Do you have to add the yellow miso and if so, where would you buy that?

    @Connie You can try it without, I’m sure it would be fine. But otherwise you can buy yellow miso at a healthfood store or Whole Foods. Also any asian market would also sell it
