Healthy Cheap Food, Ep199

I received a great question last week about what to eat when you are on a really tight budget (like $20-30/week) and you want to get healthy and even reverse some chronic health conditions. I loved this question because if there is a will, there is definitely a way!! You just have to be creative and always on the look out for the healthiest options. Check out today’s episode to get some ideas!!

I am transitioning off meat and into vegetarian and raw. I understand your comments about white rice having little or no nutritional value. Do basmati and jasmine also fall into this category?

Natasha! Thank you for all that you do!
I’d like to add free food does come in many forms- food cooperatives are generally quite open to giving you their non-saleable, still good, often organic! also dumpster diving (i know how it sounds, but i have gotten hundreds of dollars of amazing food- there is always produce- no one should ever have to buy bread or bananas :) Also, check out the local library for books on wild edibles (which are often superior in nutrition) or invest in a field guide of sorts for about 20 WELL, well worth it! LOVE!!!!

    how about cauliflower?
    haha isn’t that white?
but I understnd what you are saying. However, though potatoes are dense in calories, they actually do retain a lot of nutrition.

If you want to buy real estate, you will have to receive the home loans. Moreover, my father all the time utilizes a auto loan, which is the most reliable.
