How To Overcome Being Bored With Your Diet, Ep119
We’ve all been there, probably more than once where we feel bored with our diet or food. I get emails asking me how to get the motivation and excitement going again!
One thing I’ve come to realize in myself is that when I start feeling bored with my food, a lot of times it actually has to do with something else– most of the time it ends up being that I’m feeling bored or unenthusiastic about something in my life! One way or another, the boredom doesn’t last forever, it’s a phase that you have to ride out. I do have some suggestions like going to your local Raw Food Meet-Up Group and meeting people with similar interests and also experimenting with different raw food recipes– mix things up and change the routine– that can definetly spice things up again.

Also, just a reminder to sign up for a Coaching Group– this is a perfect way to get your healthy diet going, get on the right track, have all your questions answered and best of all, connect with other people with similar goals! Perfect!!!

Natasha thank you! You are SOOOOOO right! My food boredom is reflecting what’s going on in other parts of my life. I’m in exactly that spot you described, the middle place where you’re ready to take the next step.
Have you found that the longer you’re on the raw diet the more flavors you enjoy?
I don’t consider myself a picky eater so I’m shocked that most raw recipes I read make me think blaugh! yuck!
The biggest concern I have is my dislike for the taste of nuts. I’ve never liked them and see they’re a big part of a lot of recipes : (
2 days ago I tried a raw cheesecake recipe friends of mine that don’t even eat raw raved about- they absolutely loved it. All I could taste were the almonds and pecans. ~sigh~ I was SO excited to start a raw diet and I’m already getting discouraged.
Thanks for another great episode!! I made the raw cacao balls recently and they are amazing. Finding a great recipe that is easy to make and extremely satisfying (tastes like a truffle) gave me a real boost. I am going to do some Christmas “unbaking” and have lots on hand to share with family and friends. Do you ever store yours in the freezer and how much cacao should someone eat. I had not been eating cacao until I tried these treats. Would one every other day be healthy on a raw food diet?? Love and Gratitude for your continued awesome ideas and support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
