How To Do the Raw Food Diet Right, Ep81

I received an email over the weekend with a question that disturbed me a lot. I was asked why this person was not thriving or having energy on a raw food diet. They told me that they eat mostly bananas and lettuce! What bothered me was the fact that this person innocently thought they were doing the right thing, which is not their fault– its the fault of where they are getting the information from and not doing more in depth research into the raw food diet. Yes there are many people that are eating a lot of bananas and lettuce– thats fine, BUT they are also eating other foods as well!!! You can’t just have a diet of just bananas and lettuce, over time you will develop problems and deficiencies. So, today’s episode is all about the right way to do the raw food diet.

Don’t forget to SIGN-UP for the juice feast, its coming up this Thursday– So exciting!!!

Great post today. Wow, you are going to do a juice feast for 20 days! That is so great. I’m looking forward to the fast. I just ordered a new juicer today and I should be getting it on Wednesday, if not I will use my old one. My new one is beautiful I can’t wait to get it I have the perfect spot in my kitchen for it!

Hello Natasha, thank you for all your inspiring videos. I just recently found your website and I appreciate listening to someone who lives in a similar climate. I started my high raw lifestyle seven months ago and have never looked back. I would love to try your juice feast on Oct 1 but I have a few concerns. When I went raw I went from 122 lbs to 115 lbs (my height is 5′8″) within a few months and I would not want to lose any more weight. Also I am an avid runner and I am planning to run in a half marathon race on Oct 4th which may not compliment a juice feast. Do you have any thoughts about either of my concerns. Thanks again for you supportive and informative website. much gratitude!!
