    cool cool cool recepie. do they sell stuff like that that’s totally natural in the stores or is making it at home the only option? Alsooooo what do u think about sunscreen because that seems pretty toxic as well but also really really important to prevent burns, rashes, cancer and what not. any edible recipies for that??

    Its best to make your own stuff– I just trust it more. The products in the stores are usually swag and have all sorts of fillers. As for the sunscreen– i did an episode on it today. The best way to maintain healthy skin is to eat as much fresh raw fruits vegetables, greens, nuts & seeds!!!

    Natasha, I am loving your shows. Thanks for all the great info. I was wondering if this cream needs to be kept refrigerated, and if not, how long does it stay fresh. Also, it is ok to use just shea butter on your face? My skin is rather dry.

    Thanks so much.

    @Nancy
    The cream can be refrigerated or left out. If its left outside the refrigerator, just make sure its kept in an airtight glass container. The amount thats in the recipe last me about a month if I use it everyday. It stays fresh for at least a month. Just make sure there is never direct sunlight or anything like that on it.
    As for the shea butter on the face, you can use it, but I find it be very heavy. Have you tried using a tiny bit of Almond Oil?

    No, I haven’t tried almond oil. I just ordered the shea butter to make the cream and so will try that first. I have tried jojoba oil on my face.

    Thanks.
